I am currently a post-doc researcher under the H2020 project JUST2CE. Paradoxically, when I was ending with my bachelor degree in Engineering, I realized I was strongly interested in understanding the social causes and consequences of environmental deterioration, which led me to analyze the circular economy paradigm from an ecological economics perspective during my PhD period. My current research is focused on exploring innovative and transformative paths to build a fairer social system that, at the same time, preserves environment. This will lead me, for instance, to rethink how can the circular economy be framed under the logics of a postgrowth era.
